Who is Lucas and why should I trust what he shares?
Why this newsletter stands out from all AI-generated fluff.
I’m Lucas, the author and voice behind The GLP-1 Effect.First things first: I’m not a doctor, and I’m not here to sell you anything. I’m just a tech guy who believes we’re witnessing a revolution in obesity treatment. It’s not a fad or quick fix. It’s a real shift in how medicine addresses a problem millions of us face daily. | ![]() |
Each week, I dive into one or two questions that matter to GLP-1 users. I study the science, sift through social media experiences, and filter it all through my own lens: a real GLP-1 user who cares about evidence but also gets the human side of the data.
Each post comes from this mix: personal experience, scientific curiosity and a desire to offer something valuable to others on the GLP-1s
My story is like many of yours
I struggled with obesity my entire adult life — endless hunger, shame and failed diets. Then came the GLP-1 shots. I’ve lost over 100 pounds, the most successful health intervention I’ve ever experienced. That weight loss changed everything: my energy, my confidence and how I feel about life.
The extra energy I now have even powers me to write this newsletter, just another benefit of my transformation.
I’m a tech guy who happens to be thorough. Unlike the flood of "influencers" online, this isn’t a commercial blog. You won’t find ads here, and I’ll never try to sell you miracle supplements or coaching programs. I might mention a service that helped me, but that’s just knowledge sharing, not a sales pitch.
All posts are shaped by my personal journey: a GLP-1 user, a science nerd and a person trying to live a healthier life.
I love receiving feedback from my readers. Feel free to email me anytime. I read everything, even if it takes me a little while to respond.
People often ask how they can thank me. Spread the word. Share what you learn with others on this journey. Help someone else navigate their path with better information than you had when you started.
