Directory of GLP-1 Services, Tools & Links
Everything I’ve found helpful as a GLP-1 user, all in one place. If it makes the journey easier, it’s here.
LINK: useful spreadsheet for comparing prices from telehealth providers for compounded Tirzepatide and Semaglutide. The data pulled from provider websites and is updated periodically.
GLPWinner: metasearch tool to find and compare prices from weight loss providers.
GLP-1 Plotter: a free tool to visualize how GLP-1 medications work in your body: when they peak, how long they stay active and when they start to fade.
Recipes and Meal Ideas: private Facebook group where GLP-1 users share favorite recipes. Active community with great meal ideas and excellent moderation.
Weight loss tracker: simple Google Docs spreadsheet to track everything from injections to body measurements.
MyGLP1Journey: dozens of well-designed planners made specifically for GLP-1 users.
Honest Care: service to help appeal GLP-1 coverage denials from insurance. They offer a free template for crafting your own appeal, or you can pay $79 for their professional service.
Walk at Home videos by Leslie Sansone: the perfect workout for beginners - a full body cardio session you can do right at home, in front of your screen. It’s free and incredibly useful.
Podcasts, News and Books
Fat Science: a great podcast that delivers scientific, compassionate and practical insights — helped me understand obesity and GLP-1s with real clarity and zero judgment.
On the Pen: best source for daily news on weight loss medicine and therapies
Docs Who Lift: hosted by two physicians specializing in obesity medicine - mixing science, fitness and real talk.
The Plus SideZ: science based approach to weight loss meds, focusing on emotional challenges, healthy habits and body positivity.
The Obesity Guide: great podcast from Matthea Rentea MD and her expert insights
Let Them by Mel Robbins: a powerful book that helps you handle negativity and accusations during your weight loss, keeping your mindset strong.
APPs
Shotsy. Best app to keep track of your shots, place of injection and your weight. There's a free and paid version, but honestly the free one is good enough for use of tracking.
Happy Scale: For weight tracking, Happy Scale is my go-to. It’s really motivating because it shows trends, predictions, and mini milestones that keep me focused without stressing about the scale every day.
Lose It!: Many use it to log meals and track food intake. It has a free version with a lot of functionality, and there's even a plan specifically for those using GLP-1 meds.
Cronometer: If you’re into details, Cronometer is fantastic. The free version does basic macro breakdown - fat, carbs, protein, calories. It’s good enough for most people's needs, paid tier will track all the vitamins etc.
Me Three Sixty: I like it for visually tracking weight loss progress. It creates a 3D scan of your body and provides more than a dozen measurements.
MyNetDiary: my personal choice to track calories and protein. You can log meals manually, scan barcodes or take pictures for automatic input in paid version.
Water Llama: for those struggling with hydration, it gamifies the process, making it easy to track water intake.
Trainest: good app to start your regular fitness. It's easy to use, no subscription needed, and the progress chart keeps you motivated.

Stay healthy (and hungry for knowledge),
